The Siliserh Lake
Lake, #Sariska #tiger reserve in #Alwar, Rajasthan. The lake was built in 1845 by the erstwhile ruler of Alwar for his wife Shila, hence the name. Nestled amid the Aravalis, Siliserh has on its banks one of the most beautiful heritage properties owned by#Rajasthan #Tourism. The Lake Palace is poorly maintained but still worth staying a night or two. Must visit, before the govt sells it to some multinational hospitality group and it becomes unaffordable to everyone but a few rich people.
